Café
What do B and Q mean?
They are the two RFC 2047 email header encodings. B uses Base64; Q represents some bytes with an equals sign and hexadecimal digits. Both carry the same subject text. For example, =?UTF-8?Q?Caf=C3=A9?= also means Café.
Why is the subject encoded?
RFC 2047 represents non-ASCII characters in email headers. Most email apps decode them automatically. Keep an untouched copy of your source; malformed input or unsupported charsets may be rejected.
